About us
From a Pop Art inspiration, my work is based on commercials, comic books, objects, the american dream, the seasons, the human kind and all that surrounds me… I blend situations and ideas. My creations are shapshots. They are eye-catching, will inspire travels and hobbies, and bring a sensation of well-being and ease.
I have worked for classic TV series (Goldorak, Lucky Luke), and at René Goscinny’s studios (he was a writer for the comic books Astérix & Obélix).
My works represent the life I dream about, the life we all wish to have. Each painting is a slice of life, a story.
The paintings reflect everything I want to share, my dreams, my wanderlusts, my never-ending imagination, my escape from everyday cares.
I try to encourage the contemplation of my productions…
In 2005, the meticulous work of lacquer imposes itself upon me.
This delicate technique requires to paint flat, doesn’t allow for redos and needs long weeks to dry.
The beginning
1978
Écoles des Gobelins in Paris. I was introduced to the world of drawing, modeling and animating for tv or comic books.
1982
I was involved in the Lucky Luke movie and worked for René Goscinny’s studio. This immediatly sparked my interest for the world of comic books, for the characters and animals of all kinds.
2005
It was at this time that lacquer imposed itself upon me. After a few trials to grasp my style and technique, I finally found a process in which I thrive and am happy.
2016
I felt the need to put more feelings in my works while keeping my style from pop art, comic books and mangas, that can be felt in my way of drawing. I wish to bring a sensation of ease and well-being.

My professional path
I parcipated in Michel Clos’ art workshop in Saint-Lô, Manche. I studied at l’Écoles des Gobelins in Paris. I worked on film animation elements, and classic animated movied with light table, tracing and gouache.
I then worked as an illustrator for Télé junior, then as a modeller for New Print Creation and Afrique BIBTIO (the little lion). I also collaborated on Lucky Luke, Goldorak and for René Goscinny’s studios (Astérix & Obélix). My last experience was as a decorator/modeller for STE AAPAH.
